Quick reference tape measure confirms metric size O-Rings 64mm-665mm Inside diameter on one side and USA AS568 standard O-Ring sizes from 2.5"ID to 26" inside diameter on the other side. Metric and Inch Cross Section thickness reference gauge. (Consider a Sizing Cone for small O-Rings under 2.5" inside diameter.)

To measure USA AS568 standard size O-Rings, coil the tape with the arrows edge depicted below on the outside.
Uncoil inside the o-ring until snug lining up the cross section gauge to determine the appropriate sizing column.
Read the USA AS568 standard o-ring size where the arrow overlap.  

Do the reverse to measure the inside diameter in millimeters on the other side of the tape.

    
Current version color is blue.       Not for use with small o-rings less than 2.5"ID that are best measured with a caliper.
